The surrounding area
The surrounding area offers much in the way of relaxation. Within the vicinity are areas of outstanding natural beauty, such as the ridge at Belvedere-Monte Castello, Sassane and the Marano Valley. The landscape is dotted with "hidden treasures" including ancient buildings and castles. Cà di Fos farm is well placed for both the serious rambler and casual walker.

Affrico, Bombiana, Marano, Pietracolora, Rocca Pitigliana, Santa Maria Villiana, Silla and the spa town of Porretta Terme.

Well worth a visit:
- The Parish Church of Saints Michele and Nazario, built at the end of the 19th century, still retains the 12th century early Romanesque square apse, a wooden 16th Century crucifix and bass-relief, and paintings and sculptures dating from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. Parts of the original renaissance church and frescoes of the Oratory of San Giovanni Evangelista can still be seen.

- Palazzo d' Affrico, a delightful small town with renaissance buildings.

- Mountain Resorts of Bombiana, Rimasina, Rocca Pitigliana and Roncale.

- Castellaccio, a 15th century fortified building.

- The towers at Guanella, Montefrasca, Nerone and Sassuriano.
