Cà di Fos is an excellent point of departure for excursions to Mount Belvedere (which has a refuge where people can stay), Tuscany (only 10 kms), Florence & Bologna.

How to get to Cà di Fos:

  • From Bologna take the A1 Motorway towards Florence, exit at Sasso Marconi and then take the Superstrada 64 (Porrettana) to Silla. Then take the ascending road to Gaggio Montana and after two kilometres, you will arrive at Cà di Fos.
  • From Florence take the A11 Motorway towards Lucca - Viareggio, exit at Pistoia and take the Superstrada 64 (Porrettana) to Silla. Then take the ascending road to Gaggio Montana and after two kilometres, you will arrive at Cà di Fos.
  • From Pistoia take the Superstrada 64 (Porrettana) to Silla. Then take the ascending road to Gaggio Montana and after two kilometres, you will arrive at Cà di Fos.
  • From Pisa and Livorno take the A11 motorway towards Florence, exit at Pistoia and take the Superstrada 64 (Porrettana) to Silla. Then take the ascending road to Gaggio Montana and after two kilometres, you will arrive at Cà di Fos.
